2017 Toyota RAV4 : The Most Popular Compact SUVSep 19th, 2018
With the new RAV4, Toyota offers a spacious and versatile vehicle that is either very fuel-efficient or incredibility fuel-efficient.
There is a 2017 Toyota RAV4 for everyone.
There are six Toyota RAV4 versions available to buyers in Toronto, and three more if you count the all-new hybrid models which were introduced last year. Starting at $27,445, the new 2017 RAV4 comes standard with a rear-view camera, heated front seats, air conditioning, and a 6.1-inch touchscreen center display that includes Bluetooth.
Other versions include a power moonroof, blind spot monitoring, a larger 7.0-inch touchscreen, a smart key with push-button start, a JBL audio system, front and rear parking sonar, and much more.
That said, the most impressive feature of the all-new Toyota RAV4 is that it comes with standard Toyota Safety Sense P, a full suite of active safety features that include radar-based cruise control, automatic braking with pedestrian detection, automatic headlights, and lane departure warning with steering assist. Yes, you read that correctly: you get all of those features at no extra cost to you.
2017 Toyota RAV4: The King of Fuel Efficiency
The 2017 Toyota RAV4 is powered by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that delivers 176 horsepower and 172 lb.-ft. of torque. Impressive with its 680 kg of towing capacity, the RAV4 is also quite efficient with a posted fuel economy rating of 7.8 liters per 100 kilometers on the highway, and 10.0 liters per 100 kilometers in the city with front-wheel drive models. All-wheel drive models are still very efficient with an average of less than 10.0 liters per 100 kilometers. And if you want even better fuel economy, you can turn to the all-new 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid!
