Sculpted, expressive, dynamic, the 2012 Sienna features an aggressively alluring look, complemented by exterior dimensions designed for more responsive handling and greater interior volume. And getting in and out is easier than ever with its wider Sliding Door.
Multi-Panel Moonroof
A breath of fresh air. Sienna’s Dual Moonroof, available on XLE Limited Packages, features two independently controlled moonroofs—a Front Power Tilt and Slide Roof and Rear Power Slide Roof. The system also features Low Intensity Overhead Lighting and a Front Diffuser to redirect airflow away from the rear opening. A single Power Tilt and Slide Moonroof is standard on Sienna SE and XLE models.
Rain Sensing Front Wipers
Let it rain. Limited Packages for XLE models feature Rain Sensing Front Wipers that automatically control wiper speed and interval based on vehicle speed and the volume of rain striking the windshield. Simply set the wiper control to AUTO and Sienna does the rest.
Smart Key System
Pure convenience. Sienna’s Smart Key System, available on XLE Limited Packages, enables any door—including the rear door—to be locked or unlocked without ever having to remove the Key from pocket or purse. The system also pre-lights Interior Lights and Puddle Lamps when the registered Key is within a specified range around the vehicle.
INTERIOR - Focus on Comfort
Sienna’s interior is modern, inviting, spacious and filled with comfort and convenience. Driver head and legroom are generous, as is 2nd Row legroom and hip room, and overall visibility. There are many options for tailoring individual space as well as enormous cargo carrying capacity. And heating up or cooling down Sienna is a breeze, with its Tri-Zone Temperature Control and standard Cabin Air Filter.
Front Seats
Sienna's Front Captain's Chairs feature a longer and wider seat cushion along with a greater range of seat adjustment for increased comfort. On Sienna V6 and 4-Cylinder, driver and passenger seats are manually adjusted. All other models arrive with 8-Way Power Adjustable Driver's Chair. The XLE adds Leather Trimmed and Heated Seats, in addition to a Driver memory Seat System. Available on Limited Packages: 4-Way Power Adjustable Passenger's Chair.
2nd Row Seats
Sienna’s 2nd Row Seats open up a new dimension of comfort. The Captain’s Chairs on 7-Passenger Models feature a One-Touch Walk-in Feature, Tip-Up Seat Cushion, with Long-Slide, XLE models go one step further with Lounge Seating. 8-Passenger Models feature Captain’s Chairs with a 40:20:40 centre stowable seat with Tip-Up and Long Slide functionality. The 2nd Row Centre Seat can be removed and stored in the rear quarter trim.
3rd Row Seats
Sienna’s 60:40 Split and Stow 3rd Row Seats feature a better hip point for easier entry and exit and a new One-Touch Split and Stow Mechanism that folds seats flat for storage with one easy motion and using just one hand. When stowed, the back deck is completely flat.
Dual-View Rear Seat DVD Entertainment System
A theatre on wheels. Sienna’s available Dual-View DVD Entertainment system features a seamless 16.4” widescreen display. The system enables users to watch a DVD or play a game in ultra wide screen mode, or split the screen and play two different programs simultaneously (XLE models with Limited Package). There is even a 120V AC plug to power your game system (Game system not included). Wireless Headphones are included.
PERFORMANCE - The Convenience of Choice
4-Cylinder Engine
Sienna's 2.7 Litre 4-Cylinder Engine can pump out 187 Horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, exceeding some V6 engines. At the same time, the engine delivers best-in-class fuel economy, thanks to features like Dual VVT-i, a Variable Length Intake Manifold, and 3-Stage Variable Oil Pump.
V6 Engine
Class-leading power. Sienna’s 3.5 Litre V6 generates 266 Horsepower and 245 lb-ft of torque. Designed for low weight, low noise and vibration, and outfitted with advanced technology, Sienna’s V6 not only offers more power, but also exercises it wisely—producing greater fuel economy and fewer emissions than the previous generation.
Fuel Economy
Powerful, yet fuel-efficient. All Wheel Drive V6 models deliver a combined rating of 10.6 L/100 km, while Front Wheel Drive V6 models go even further with a combined rating of 9.8 L/100 km.
Eco Driving Indicator
Use less fuel. Standard on all models, an Eco Driving Indicator that provides real-time assessment on driving efficiency. When Sienna is being driven in an ‘economical’ manner, an indicator light turns on in the Gauge Cluster or the Multi-Information Display as a visual encouragement and reinforcement of good driving habits.
SAFETY - World Class Safety
Airbags
Sienna features a full complement of seven standard Airbags, including dual-stage front and seat-mounted side airbags for driver and front passenger, plus a new driver side knee airbag. Side curtain airbags cover the length of the cabin from the front seats to the third row.
