Smooth Flow
Camry's lower, wider and more linear stance not only gives it an edgier and more muscular look but also provides an improved ride and, with the help of aero stabilizing fins, makes it more aerodynamic. SE Steps Up

Featuring a unique thin mesh grille, side skirts, rear sport bumper and trunk-mounted rear lip spoiler, the re-defined SE delivers an exhilarating driving experience. INTERIOR - Light & Space

Camry's reimagined interior features an enlarged cabin, providing a sense of light and open space. Greater space between front and rear seating allows for more knee and leg room, while rear head room was increased by re-shaping headlining over the rear seat – thus surpassing both Ford Fusion and Hyundai Sonata when it comes to rear head room. All achieved through improved design, waste space reduction and the use of thinner, lighter materials, without having to increase the actual vehicle size.

Instrumentation
Camry's entire Instrument Panel has been fine-tuned so that it is easier to see and even easier to use. Slimmed down, reshaped and with even better integration of the Center Cluster, Audio Panel and Heater Control Panel. Among the new features, Average Fuel Efficiency and Instantaneous Fuel Efficiency gauges (side by side in the XLE), so you can check on how fuel efficient your driving is. As well, an Eco Driving Indicator Light has been added to promote more ecologically-friendly driving.

Whether it's music to your ears, hands-free connecting to the outside world or keeping in touch with your vehicle's tire pressure, the 2012 Camry carries an exciting array of standard hi-tech features including Audio Mini-Jack Input, USB Port and streaming Bluetooth® Capacity. XLE V6 sports Voice-activated JBL Premium Display Audio with 7″ Monitor that includes DVD and DVD play back. Other models come with a 6.1″ Touch Panel Display Audio (with Navigation for SE, SE V6 and XLE).
Seats
Subtle changes to the 2012 Camry's seats make all the difference when it comes to rider comfort. Among the changes to the Front Seats: new generation frame construction, expanded seatback height extension and cushion length, basket construction lumbar support, and a better seat heater. Rear seats now include: 60:40 folding for all grades, armrest with cup holders, and a very convenient remote release to allow seats to be folded flat from the luggage area.

Handling
You asked for it, you got it: handling like it was meant to be with a newly developed rear underbody and a sportier rear suspension that not only better stabilizes the Camry in straight-line driving but also adds more quickness and agility to the mix. Optimized steering gear ratio, column Electric Power Steering, front suspension inversely wound coil springs, and side-mirror and rear lamp aerodynamic fins seal the deal when it comes to improved handling performance.
4-Cylinder Punch
With more than a 5% increase in horsepower (from 169 to 178), this latest version of the 2.5 Litre 4-Cylinder engine ratchets up the power and outmuscles its competitors while actually increasing fuel efficiency. With a combined class-leading 7.0L/100Km*, the new 2.5L bests the Ford Fusion and even the smaller 2.4L engines of segment rivals such as the Honda Accord, Chevrolet Malibu and Hyundai Sonata. All thanks to the use of the latest in efficient, lightweight, low-emission technologies such as TCV (Tumble Control Valves), to reduce weight and increase performance. Even the engine cover has been re-designed to reduce weight and better muffle engine noise.
V6 Fine-Tuning
Best-in-class fuel consumption isn't just for the 4-cylinder models. Featuring lightweight and quiet Dual VVT-i, the already powerful and lean running 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 has been improved in subtle ways that deliver top rated 8.2L/100km fuel efficiency* without hindering the engine's performance. Changes include altering the engine oil viscosity to keep down oil-related friction losses. Power transfer efficiency has been improved through the addition of ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) warmer for times when the engine is cold.
SAFETY - Saftey Comes Standard
Airbags
With the addition of Dual stage SRS Front-Passenger Knee Airbag and Rear-Seat Side airbags, every Camry now carries a class-leading 10 standard airbags for greater rider protection – more than both Ford Fusion and Hyundai Sonata. This includes Curtain Shield airbags to help protect occupants' heads in case of a side collision.
Damage Control
Camry is designed for effective impact absorption in case of a collision, thus helping to keep cabin deformation at a minimum. Not only is frontal and side collision energy absorbed and dispersed, but also that coming from a roof collision. As well, a concave front bumper absorber design reduces intrusion by controlling the vehicle under-ride in a frontal collision.
