Toyota’s drive for continuous improvement is especially evident in the many safety technologies standard on Venza.Augmenting the protection of 3-point seatbelts at every seating position, Venza comes standard with a Supplemental Restraint System that consists of seven airbags1 – driver and front passenger Advanced Airbag System,1 driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags,1 front and rear head/side curtain airbags 1 and a driver’s knee airbag.1 Also standard on all models are Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Traction Control (TRAC),Antilock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA).

Performance

To create Venza, Toyota engineers knew they would need to elevate performance acrossa wide range of criteria. The 182-hp 4-cylinder and 268-hp V6 engines are mated to a 6-speed Super Electronically Controlled Transmission that helps manage the engine’s power, so Venza can offer smooth, seamless shifts and excellent fuel efficiency. The 4-cylinder and V6 models also come available with Toyota’s Active Torque Control AWD System. It actively controls each wheel to help optimize the available traction by distributing the engine’s torque to just the right wheels at just the right moment.
