2017 Toyota Corolla: Celebrating 50 Years of Reliability and Quality
If there were an automotive hall of fame, the Toyota Corolla would certainly be enshrined there. On the market for half a century now, the Corolla is now the best-selling car in the world.

One quick drive behind the wheel of the brand new 2017 Toyota Corolla is enough to understand why Toyota’s compact sedan is so popular.

Safety comes at no extra charge in the 2017 Toyota Corolla.

Toyota has always been known for the reliability of its vehicles, as well as for their quality and safety. As a matter of fact, safety is at the heart of the Japanese automaker’s mission, and this year Toyota is proving it once more by offering a range of active safety systems called Toyota Safety Sense. These come at no extra charge and are therefore standard on the vast majority of its new models including the 2017 Toyota Corolla.

There are two Toyota Safety Sense systems, starting with the Toyota Safety Sense P which is standard on the new Corolla. TSS-P includes radar-based cruise control, automatic braking with pedestrian detection, automatic headlights, and lane departure warning with steering assist. We know we mentioned it before, but it is quite remarkable to see all of those features offered on a compact sedan. As a matter of fact, the Corolla is the only vehicle in its segment to offer advanced driver assistance technologies as standard equipment.

A Fuel-Efficient Engine for the 2017 Toyota Corolla

Starting at just $16,390, the 2017 Corolla comes with a 6.1-inch touchscreen central display and automatic LED headlights. There are plenty of other versions of the 2017 Toyota Corolla, and you are sure to find the model you are looking for with the equipment you want.

In terms of its powertrain, the 2017 Corolla is offered as standard with a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine that delivers 132 horsepower. The same engine is offered in the LE ECO model, but with 140 horsepower. Despite the extra power, however, the 2017 Toyota Corolla LE ECO is the most fuel-efficient model in the Toyota Corolla lineup, thanks to plenty of exclusive features designed to reduce fuel consumption.
